The birth of Jesus takes place in a barn, and part my Christmas day was spent the same way. Babies don't give you much warning when they are going to be born, so for farmers being close to their animals on Christmas is very important. I had just gotten out of the shower and was getting ready for Christmas after being with the pigs when my dad came inside. We had goats.
When I say we had goats, I mean more than one. Goats don't usually have one kid (that's what goat babies are called), normally it's twins or triplets. We already had a set of twins, named Bruno and Felicia. Then on Christmas, we had 7 more! Three mamas decided to have babies all at the same time, so Christmas was paused while we made sure the new babies and mama were feeling well. It's important to make sure that they are eating and warm and dry. With the babies doing good, it was back to the shower for me and then we could get to our Christmas festivities. Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night!
